Amon have been invited to join NatWest Accelerator
The spring at Amon started with great news from the 4th largest commercial bank and retail in the United Kingdom! We have been selected by NATWEST to join their accelerator program in the United Kingdom.
Natwest, established in 1968, considered one of the Big Four Clean Banks in the UK. It has the largest network across Great Britain and online banking, which is a great fit for us. Natwest and Amon shared the same vision, we believe that mixing the old and new world of financial services is the key to success in the transformation of payments.
Natwest runs 3 different programs to help companies on their growth. In 2018, Natwest started a new accelerator program called “Fintech” which is specialized in Fintech Industry. The accelerator is held in Bristol, London, Edinburgh and Manchester and it lasts 6 months, starting in April or October.
The accelerator offers working space across 11 UK locations, coaching, mentors, meetings, legal advice, networking, etc. Natwest also helps startups in getting funding and without asking any equity.
Our Co-founders Daniele Izzo and Cristian Izzo, participated last February in the selection days and presented our project. The Natwest team were enthusiasts with Amon presentation, it is what has made us one of the successful companies to join the program.
We are proud that banks like Natwest recognise us as an innovation and revolution in digital payments and want to help us in our growth. However since last March we joined the MKB Fintechlab accelerator program, we had to turn down the offer.
We might be collaborating with NatWest in the near future but at the moment we are fully committed to the MKB Fintechlab programme.
We are very excited that traditional banks participated in the crypto adoption and become part of the new era.
